If we make material changes to how we collect and use Personal Information from children under age 13, we will notify parents by email in order to obtain verifiable parental consent for the new uses of the child’s Personal Information.
In order to provide our full range of Services, we may collect the following types of information:
Information you provide. When you register for a username, we ask you for personal information (such as your email address, username, date of birth, gender, and an account password). In order to improve the quality of our Services and to provide you with a better user experience, we may combine the information you submit with information provided by third parties.
When you download and use our Services, we automatically collect information on the type of device you use, operating system version, and the device identifier.
Demographic Information. Each time you access our Services, our servers may automatically record in their server logs information that your browser or mobile device sends whenever you visit our website. Links. We may present links that include codes that enable us to track whether these links have been followed. This information is used to improve the quality of our advertising and customized content, as well as the organization and layout of our website.
If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you interest-based ads, you may opt-out by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note this does not opt you out of being served ads. You will continue to receive generic ads.
ItsJojo and our partners, advertising affiliates, or analytics or service providers use technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags, and scripts, to analyze trends, administer the website, tracking users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual and aggregated basis.

User communications. We may retain communications that you send to ItsJojo by email or otherwise, in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, and improve our Services.
We do not ask for, access or track any location based information from your mobile device at any time while downloading or using our website.
How We Use Personal Information
Providing our Services (which includes displaying customized advertising and other content);
Auditing, research, and analysis (to maintain, protect, and improve our Services);
Technical diagnostics (to ensure our network is functioning as expected);
Protecting the rights or property of ItsJojo or our users, or third parties;

We process personal information on our servers, which are located in the United States of America and in other countries. As a result, there exists the possibility that we may process your personal information on a server that is not located in your home country. In some cases, we may process personal information at the request of third parties and according to their instructions, such as our advertising partners. We will treat all personal information processed at the request of a third party exactly as if we had collected the processed personal information ourselves.
Parents and legal guardians of children under 13 who are members of ItsJojo have certain rights under COPPA, and ItsJojo recognizes those rights. Parents/guardians can consent to collection and use of a child’s personally identifiable information without consenting to the disclosure of information to third parties. Currently the only identifiable information we collect from children under 13 is parent’s email address.
Parents/guardians can review information their children under 13 have contributed to ItsJojo, by accessing their child’s account via password reset. Parents can also request that ItsJojo delete that information and refuse to allow ItsJojo to collect further information from their children by contacting us at email@example.com. ItsJojo may ask additional questions or take other steps to verify the identity of parents/guardians before responding to a request to review or delete their child’s information, or a request to refuse further collection from children.
A child’s participation or access to an activity on ItsJojo cannot be conditioned on him or her providing more information than is reasonably necessary for that activity, or any personally identifiable information. ItsJojo does not collect personally identifiable information from children under 13, without a parent or guardian’s consent.
We will retain your information until such time as you request your account be deleted or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Right to Delete
You have the right to delete your account and personally identifiable information at any time in compliance with our data retention policy. You may do so by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. For the protection of our users, we reserve the right to require additional verification from you in order to confirm the accountholder is the individual requesting deleted.
Right to a Copy of Your Information
You have the right to obtain a copy of the personally identifiable information we have collected from you and to learn with whom and for what purpose this information has been shared. You may request a copy of your personally identifiable information including information about how we have shared your personally identifiable information and for what purpose by emailing us at email@example.com. For the protection of our users, we reserve the right to require additional verification from you in order to confirm the accountholder is the individual requesting such data.
We reserve the right to charge an administration fee in relation to fulfilling a request for access to personal information which fee shall not exceed the maximum fee allowed by law.
By providing your email address in connection with the creation of an account with ItsJojo, you thereby demonstrate your consent to receive email communications from us. Email addresses, when provided, are only used for account verification and sending ItsJojo’s newsletter. Your email address is never sold or shared.
